Pre-submission Turnitin AI-writing & Similarity check
Upload your draft, pay per document, and a real person sends you both Turnitin PDF reports — the AI-writing report and the Similarity report. As fast as 10 minutes, always within 1 hour, around the clock. No subscription, no account.
PDF, Word (.docx/.doc), .odt, .rtf or .txt, up to 20 MB and roughly 300–30,000 words. Just your email — no account.
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or use a credit from a pack. You get a private tracking link straight away, showing the expected delivery time.
We submit your file to Turnitin ourselves and email you both reports — AI-writing and Similarity — as PDFs. No bots, no automation, and your file never enters any database.
Two PDFs from one Turnitin submission. Both are the complete, unedited reports Turnitin produces.
An overall percentage of text the tool believes was AI-generated, with every flagged passage highlighted so you can review it in your own words.
An overall similarity percentage and a list of matching sources, so you can check quotations, paraphrases and references before you submit.
AI detectors produce false positives. If you write formally, use templates, or English is not your first language, your own writing is more likely to be misread. Seeing the report first lets you revise wording and keep evidence of your drafting process.
Many courses allow AI for brainstorming, grammar or feedback within stated limits. A report helps you check the final draft is your own work and stays within your course rules.
Non-native English writing is flagged at higher rates by detectors. Knowing where you stand is reasonable due diligence before a high-stakes submission — and you can ask us questions in your own language.

One person runs AI Essay Check, so the badge at the top of the page is live. When it says Away, your order is first in the queue when we're back — and you'll see the expected time before you pay. Around the clock, seven days a week, UK time.
Online now · reports in 10 min–1 hWe run your document through Turnitin — the AI-writing detector and Similarity checker used by most UK universities — and send you the full, unedited AI-writing and Similarity reports it produces. AI Essay Check is an independent service and is not affiliated with Turnitin. Institutions use different settings and thresholds, so treat the result as a strong indication rather than a guarantee of how your own university would score it.
The Turnitin AI-writing report estimates how much of the text looks machine-generated and highlights those passages. The Similarity report compares your text against published sources and other documents and lists what matched — the classic plagiarism check. You get both from one submission, at no extra cost.
It can. AI detectors produce false positives, and formal academic writing, templated structures and non-native English patterns are all more likely to be misread as machine-generated. That is exactly why checking before you submit is useful — you see the same flagged passages your marker would see, with time to revise them in your own words.
No AI detector is perfectly accurate, including Turnitin's. It can miss AI-generated text, and it can flag genuine human writing. Treat the percentage as a strong indication worth reviewing, not a verdict — and remember your own university may interpret the same report differently than described here.
Yes — that's the whole point of the service. We run an independent Turnitin submission and send you both reports so you can review them before your official submission goes through your university's own Turnitin account. Checking here has no effect on that submission.
Reports can be sent in as fast as 10 minutes after payment, and we always deliver within 1 hour, around the clock. A real person does every check, so the badge at the top of the page shows whether we're online right now; if we're away it shows when we're back and when to expect your report. The exact expected time is shown before you pay and on your tracking page.
Buy a 3-pack or 10-pack, and the credits are attached to your email address. When you order, enter your email, we send you a 6-digit code, and you use one credit instead of paying. No password, no account. Credits never expire, and an unused pack can be refunded within 14 days.
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are always available. Alipay and WeChat Pay appear on the payment page when enabled — look for them at checkout.
Your file is stored in encrypted, access-controlled storage only for as long as it takes to process it and deliver the reports, and is deleted automatically within 30 days (sooner if you ask). It is never added to any plagiarism database, repository or training set, and is never shared with anyone else.
Checking your own work before you submit it is not misconduct. Submitting work you did not write is — and a low AI score does not change that. Always read your own university's academic integrity policy, which is what actually applies to you.
The report shows exactly which passages were flagged. Review them: are they your own words? Common triggers are very formulaic phrasing, heavy use of templates, and generic transitions. Revise in your own voice, and keep drafts and notes as evidence of your process. We do not rewrite anything for you.
If we cannot process your file (corrupted, unreadable, wrong format, or over the size limit) we refund you in full. If we deliver more than 2 hours after the expected time shown at checkout, we refund 50%. Once the reports have been delivered we are otherwise unable to refund, because the work has been done. Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days.
